| We’d guess it was about nine years ago when the CAVEMANager spotted a strange sight at the corner of Fourth and Ocotillo. There was a beige cat walking around that busy intersection and he was carrying a sign that said, “Will Work For Food”. It seemed like too good a deal to pass up so Cavecat got hired. Although he doesn’t have a radio program of his own, Cavecat often is heard in the background while humans are on the air. His job comes with medical benefits and for quite awhile he was running up some big bills by roaming around the neighborhood and getting into angry disputes. Some surgery calmed him down and he spends more time at the radio station nowadays. One day about a year ago, Debbie watched as Cavecat caught and ate eight mice inside the Cave Eyesore. So you see that Cavecat really does work for food. |
